Responsibilities

We seek highly talented and motivated postdoctoral researchers for Stress & Brain Wellness linking to Children's Brain Cognitive and Affective Development. The overarching goal of the project is to understand brain functional principles underlying the profound effects of stress on human cognitive and affective processes, and how these effects may affect children's cognitive and affective development. 

Work Environment

The Key State Laboratory for Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning & IDG/McGovern Institute for Brain Research at Beijing Normal University is a national research centre in China, devoted to advance our understanding of the brain, cognitive and behavioral sciences through interdisciplinary research, and improving education and mental health by applying advances in this field.

Requirements from candidates

The candidates should have a PhD degree in a field related to cognitive neuroscience (e.g. experimental psychology, cognitive science, or neuroscience). Candidates with a strong background in affective and cognitive neuroscience and experience with neuroimaging and computational techniques are particularly encouraged to apply. Selection will be based on records of published research, expertise in affective and cognitive neuroscience methods and theories.
